The committee is currently planning events for each of the NNEC Program
sites. A detailed agenda will be circulated prior to the NNEC Annual General
Meeting in November.
Newsletter Otishkooni Tipachimowin

The first edition of NNEC ‘Otishkooni Tipachimowin’ was distributed
as an in insert in the October 7, 2004 Wawatay newspaper.
I will begin working on a second newsletter in December 2004. The next
edition will be released in January or early February 2005.
Distribution costs are being absorbed by the Department of Justice project.

Ontario Trillium Foundation
The Den (salary and program development)

5 year multi-year funding requested.This proposal was complete but
due to ongoing problems the Executive Director formed an Interim Committee
to develop a clear role and definitive responsibilities for the den and
the Den coordinator.
The interim committee has received a copy of the proposal for input,
revision and comments.
Proposal submission deadline date is November 15, 2004.
