Graduation 2007
Wahsa’s 16th Graduation ceremonies were held at the Sunset Inn to congratulate our 11 Wahsa graduates who received their Grade 12 diplomas. Over $5000 in bursary awards were handed out from First Nations organization, bands and businesses. As of June 2007, a total of 300 students have graduated from Wahsa Distance Education Centre. Data gathered through the learning centres show 58% of Wahsa graduates were employed and a total of 56% are working in the Education and Administration field. Of the data collected, there has been a large number completing the Native Teacher Education Program.
