Wahsa's Philosophies and Goals
Wahsa Distance Education Centre is a First Nations High School dedicated to provide quality secondary education services to remote Ojibway, Cree, and Oji-Cree communities across Northwestern Ontario, Canada.
The Wahsa program aims to:
• enable you to complete your high school studies at home
• offer you alternative ways to earn a provincial high school diploma
• open gateways to secondary education through technological innovation
• promote First Nations culture through community-based design
• empower individuals and communities to realize benefits in a global age
• develop the knowledge, skills, and attitudes required for future success
